This page lists the various amplifiers that I have owned since coming back to the world of guitar playing and recording and while there are certainly many to choose from, all the old favourites are still there!
As with my guitar choices, I already had my mind made up in regard to what I would be looking for and Fender, Marshall and Vox were the first products to get my attention. However there were surprises in store for me and I went through a few different models before settling on building an amplifier rack.
Of course, every amplifier needs to be hooked up to something, and when it came to speaker cabinets I would eventually opt to use an isolation cabinet with a very quick change system to enable speaker choices best suited for the tonal task in hand.
