This page lists some of the various guitars that I have owned since coming back to the world of guitar playing and recording, and one of the things that struck me most having been away from things for so long; the amount of choice is almost overwhelming!
Despite the endless guitar models available, I had already made up my mind in regard to what I would be looking for and considering my age, that would be those iconic instruments that are even more popular now than they were when first released. Of course the names Telecaster, Stratocaster and Les Paul were first on my list to check out.
Over on my YouTube Guitar Channel which I started after a request for me to document my first equipment purchases to a friend in another country, I video my journey through a number of years trying out guitars, amplifiers and EFX pedals. Not content with just buying a ready made guitar I also decided to make my own Master Build style Telecaster filmed as a 12 part series.
