Personal music journey:
As a young teenager in the early years of the 1970s I was learning both the drums and 6 string guitar; however, as a full drum kit was not allowed in the house it was the guitar that would win out. Having had some health challenges often causing physical pain, I found playing the guitar was a great distraction and motivator to write songs for pouring out emotions.
By 1984, with many performances and recording experiences under my belt I walked away from the often intense and crazy world of Rock'n'roll. I began my own business in commercial photography and also began to search more deeply for answers regarding the meaning of life and death.
Moving into the documentary film making world would bring me in contact with many people around the globe, notably, archaeologists, historians, ancient language scholars to name but a few, all of which would result in many adventures.
It was at that time I began attending a local Christian Church and eventually taking two years out to study Biblical Theology and Eschatology (study of end of things) which would lead to my own convictions regarding God the Creator and The Lord Jesus Christ who said "Come all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest".
Now in my 60s, and semi-retired from the world of multi-media production I continue to serve in the Christian Church through education and support. I'm thankful that I also have time to enjoy the gift of music and being able to utilise today's technologies making high quality recording so much easier to achieve.
