What does Eminence say. The Eminence Texas Heat 8 Ohm 150W 12" Guitar Speaker is the All-American guitar speaker that's packing heat, Texas style. It delivers a nice warm, fat tone with top end bite and clarity to cut through a mix while maintaining a rich, bluesy tone. Very touch-sensitive with a hint of British flavour.

Home Recording Studio gear is a personal thing but certain bits of kit will always be a "must-have" and this website touches on some of the equipment I have come to use in my own recording work.​
As I developed my small recording studio I wanted to quickly and easily change out speakers and for that I use the Grossmann Fat Box Isolation Cabinet. I wanted to have a number of classic sounding speakers on my shelf and the Texas Heat is a popular choice for that smooth American sound. It's an interesting speaker and it certainly reacts a little differently depending on which amplifier I hook it up to.
