Dunlop DVP5 Volume (X) 8 Pedal:

What does Dunlop say. The Dunlop DVP5 Volume Pedal Junior reinvents the cumbersome world of rocking chassis pedals. Due to their larger size, these pedals are associated with being heavy and literally weighing you down but not with the DVP5. Designed with Pedaltrain, you get sheer practicality without sacrificing performance. Functioning as both Volume and Expression pedal, get effortless dynamic response. The volume sweep is consistently smooth across its range, while the ability to control parameters of other pedals with your feet saves fiddling for added convenience. Get the best of both worlds with the DVP5.

Personal Comment:

Before I make my own personal comment I will preface this with a general statement so the reader understands what I'm seeking to convey. EFX pedals are very much a personal choice although clearly, some pedals have more features than others and build cost will have a bearing on what you are getting for your money. Another point to raise is that, pedals may react differently depending on the amplifier in use or whether the pedals are going straight into the front of an amp or are routed via an amplifiers effects loop.

Volume pedals are not all made equal and when I was on the look-out for one that was not the usual cumbersome size, I was put-off by the smaller models where the footprint was awkward and the volume sweep was poor. Then I saw the DVP5, its a useable size and the sweep is very good at both ends of its travel. I don't use it a lot, but it's nice for those swell, violin style effects. If your looking for a quality small volume pedal, this is it.

Talking about pedals is a limited conversation and so click on the link above to view and hear the pedals general tones and specifications. If you want to know more about this pedal drop me an email.
