Guitar Amp Rack Build Project Part 1 & 2
In these two videos you will see a custom build amplifier control rack being planned and constructed from start to end. I outline some of the points to pay particular attention to, such as the material used in construction, all the wiring to bring all the amplifiers together and the type of switcher unit needed to take control over amplifiers and speaker cabinets.

Home Recording Studio gear is a personal thing but certain bits of kit will always be a "must-have" and this website touches on some of the equipment I have come to use in my own recording work.​
As I developed my small recording studio it was important to be able to get things done quickly and efficiently. Having worked for decades in the film industry time is often of the essence and that has stuck with me. Of course, you could make life easier by using a small box of tricks such as a multi-processor or software to get a vast range of sounds and effects with the press of a button or two. However, for those who still love the organic approach of real amplifiers, speakers, pedals and recording then you need to have a plan on how to organise what will amount to a lot of gear, let alone all the cables that will be involved to make it all work.
